Workshops again tomorrow, I'm liking these. I made a little moebius wrap thingie in colinette tagliatelli, can't wait to bind it off and see how it actually came out :)
I have an idea for some felted moebius stuff, I'll have to play with it in my copious spare time...

17 January 07 - 00:35While my computer is being sluggish...
I will post an update! I know it seems like I never post anything here, and part of it is that I'm kind of wondering how much one person can squee about yarn and loving their job before it gets old... :)
But then I decided, to heck with it! I'll squee all I want!
I'm teaching the Moebius class this weekend, and it's going to be a lot of fun. MaryLou used to do that one, but she is no longer with us, so...
I made a cute little mohair scarf, and am working on a moebius wrap in Colinette Tagliatelli. I think that's going to come out great. It better... :D
The other workshops I'm doing this week are:
around and around - 4 ways of knitting in the round
enter the world of entrelac - again, I'm doing this one... and again with the filling up in one day! I'm wondering if this isn't the most popular one so far
scalloped felted purse - we don't carry Kureyon anymore, so I made a replacement one in Malabrigo. Guess what? It's cuter!
Marie is doing fixing mistakes and intro to cables, and Jan is doing wave pattern shawl and squiggle shawl or scarf.
I love my job :)

09 January 07 - 02:11new year?
Amazing. It's 2007 already.
The holiday season flew by, I taught many workshops, and now we're back to a more normal pace of once or twice a month. Of course, we are preparing for Stitches West in February, and then there's the question of whether or not we'll have a retreat this year.
Lots of work! :)
