Yay, knitting!

Yay, knitting!

can you believe they pay me to do this?
can you believe they pay me to do this?

So what's this then?

Welcome to my blog. I'm a knitter, voraciously and vociferously so. I am fortunate enough to be working in a yarn store in Saratoga, CA, where I'm Knitting Doctor and Teacher of Workshops.

Since I still have to work for a living, I am also a webdesigner.

Originally from Sweden, I now live (with my hubby, 2 daughters, and 2 cats) in Santa Cruz, CA.

09 December 06 - 00:13Visitors!

It seems I do get a visitor or two to this thing, although nobody ever says anything... *grin*

So, at my computer again, going to bed late because I have workshop materials to finish. Oh well. I love what I do, and it'll be done in the morning :)

07 December 06 - 16:51More workshops

Sometimes I feel like I'm repeating myself a lot, but... yay, workshops! :)

I love teaching them. I love coming up with new things to show, new ways of doing old things, and that collective "ooOOOOoh" that comes when a whole class simultaneously gets a very time- or sanity-saving concept.

So this weekend I'm doing beaded wrist warmers, evening bag in an evening, and feather and fan intro to lace.

I'm working on a differend beaded thing; it's a scarf where the beads are "hanging" between the stitches. Hard to explain, but I think it will be pretty :)
